Rebecca Andrews knew she was lucky to be hired as a private nurse for an elderly lady who was going on a one-month trip aboard a luxury cruise ship. But there was one big problem. The client was the grandmother of her ex-boyfriend--the guy she was still in love with, the guy who didn't love her back.

Zach Carmichael couldn't say no to his grandmother's plea to join her on a month-long cruise for her eightieth birthday. But he didn't expect his spritely gran to bring two private nurses with her. One of them happened to be the woman who'd broken his heart--the one he believed lied to him about her feelings.

Aboard a luxury liner, their passion for each other flared again. Was it just a temporary flame brought about by the romance of being on a cruise? How could they give love another chance when they were both afraid to put their hearts back on the line?

My Thoughts...

This book was pretty cute. I enjoyed reading the second-chance romance that this book turned out to be. I loved the grandmother and all her scheming. The story was a pretty good one. I mean who would want to be stuck on a month cruise with the millionaire hunk who you though broke your heart? And never mind he thought she was a gold digger that had been cheating on him. Tons of miscommunications and then a whole lot earning their way back into each other’s hearts.

I thought the characters were hilarious and genuine. The story wasn’t insta-love and after our heroine figured everything out she didn’t forgive him in the next breath. She tried to make him work for it. But when you aren’t over someone wanted to see the best in them is ever a bad thing. Our male lead kind of frustrated me because he believed what everyone else said about the heroine without looking for himself. He says that he loved her but he gave up in the beginning awfully quickly. He grew on me though. He knew what was wrong and he was willing to prove to her that he knew that.

I loved his grandmother. She knew the whole time and still decided to meddle to get the two of them back together. This story was a quick and enjoyable read. I can’t wait to read the next one!
