This story is about learning how to work past personal boundaries and doing what you need to do to get the things you want. It’s a story about getting the chance to fix regrets and get the HEA you have always wanted.
Kessel’s writing was sweet and done well. The story was told mostly from Claire’s POV but we did get a few chapters in Jonah’s POV. They definitely gave us some insight into the character he is and his feelings during this story. The pace was perfect. You weren’t waiting around for the emotion and drama to start.
This book was a sweet second chance love story that you should definitely put on your TBR.
