Escaping the evil man of her past…

With a tattoo gun, Shay Kelly tries to color a better future for herself and her son. When her abusive ex is paroled this proves to be a difficult task. All her clients used to be his and he’s taking them back. But that’s not the only thing he wants.

Screaming his way to the top…

No one can change the visions of Morgan Desario’s past, or what he saw the night his dad died. Marijuana helps the pain his singing can’t numb. When his heavy metal band gets signed, he’s flying high. But fame and fortune do nothing to take away the humiliation he faces every time he gets stuck in a memory.

When their morals slip and their sins collide…

They share the same lifestyle, but couldn't be more different. She's anti-drug and he's all for smoking pot. A night of passion bonds them together, but their connection is strained when their pasts are unleashed. On tour, Morgan’s sins flourish. At home, Shay's morals bend. A sharp line separates what's right and wrong that both are afraid to cross.

Will they be cut walking the Razor’s Edge?

Razor’s Edge is a story of grit, life, and loving someone no matter what. Racquel Reck creates a story about two people who meet at the worst possible time. They meet their other half while life is dealing them a shit hand. Racquel Reck fills all of the character with raw and heart-breaking emotion. Racquel dares you to fall in love with these characters and watch them fall. Only the root for their HEA with everything you have.

Shay has escaped a horrible abusive relationship. She has an eight year old son that she has to protect as well as a tattoo parlor she needs to keep open. She is doing everything in her power to keep her ex’s clients at her store as well as keep her ex out of her life. Shay is a strong character. It took her three years to leave but when she finally did she got the courage to send him to jail as well. She has been taking care of her son as well as running a business. Shay has her life carefully planned until she meets Morgan.

Morgan is trying to get his heavy metal band off the ground. While he is dealing with drug use. He uses pot to help him forget about his emotionally cruel mother and having found his dad after he over-dosed. He uses it as a way to ease his anxiety. Morgan tried to be a better man when he meets Shay. After a hot encounter they decide to be friends until that isn’t enough anymore. I liked Morgan’s character as well. Even though he deals with drug abuse he tried to be the best man he can be to both Shay and her son. He protects her when she needs it.

The journey they take together definitely has its ups and major downs. They both hit their moral rock bottom but they manage to find their way out of the darkness with and for each other. The story line was well done and the pacing was perfect. This was a major story of redemption and it was a good one.

I would definitely recommend this book to people who love stories that are full of emotion and take you on a journey this is the book for you!
