Lighthearted and funny, Sean Benson has everything he wants: family, friends, and a successful business with his best friend. After the death of her mom, Savanna Davis left the life she never wanted behind, in search of the family she never had.

When Savanna is attacked at Sean’s bar, he clumsily comes to her rescue. Unable to get the green-eyed beauty out of his mind after parting ways, Sean sets out to find her, and inevitably comes to her aid again by offering her a job at Chrome.

Savanna is determined to not lose sight on why she came to Virginia in the first place, while Sean is determined to show her just how great they could be together.

Unexpected discoveries drop a bombshell on the entire Chrome family, putting Sean and Savanna’s new relationship to the test.

Will Sean’s loyalty to his friend ruin his chance at finding Love?

After the last of Savanna’s ties are gone when her mother dies she picks up and moves to Virginia to look for her a brother she never knew she had. She only has his first name and a picture from when he was a baby. She knows it’s a long shot but he is the last family she has. Even though life has been hard she isn’t going to let that deter her from finding him. After Savanna is left at a bar by her “friend” she gets attack and is saved by the co-owner Sean.

When Sean first meets Savanna he knows there is something different about her. When she doesn’t contact him again after he saves her he tries to forget her. When he can’t Sean tracks down her friend looking for. When he finds her he ends up offering her a bartending job at his bar. Weeks go by as he gets to know her. Then one night, one choice could mean the end of a relationship that just started.

Savanna, at first, seems to be a meek and small person but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. She is a survivor. She’s strong and she knows how to take care of herself. She hasn’t had the best or easiest childhood but she still came out a caring and hard working person. Sean had a much different childhood. His was easy but he didn’t come out arrogant or oblivious to other people’s problems. He came out genuine, caring, and loyal to a fault.

This was a quick read that I couldn’t help but wish was longer. We don’t really get to know the characters on an intimate level. We get a glimpse and it wasn’t enough for me. I loved the dynamic of all of the characters. I can’t wait to see what else we get out of Chrome!
