In this sizzling conclusion to WILD TEMPTATION, Liv and Tyler see the boundaries of their addictions pushed to new limits as their heads battle with their hearts for an explosive fall into the depths of love…

I gave him my body, and he gave me no strings. It was that simple… in the beginning.

I never could have imagined my temptation could become my addiction. If I knew for a second how entirely Tyler Stone would consume me, I never would have handed him my body so freely.

His addiction feeds mine. My cravings ignite his. Together we are dangerous. Destructive. Obsessive. Wild.

But now it’s too late. We’re bound by more than our inexplicable need for the other, and the ties that hold us together are irreversible.

He craves my body. I crave his heart.
This is addiction.

Wild Addiction is book two of the WILD series. It is preceded by Wild Attraction, a free prequel, and Wild Temptation, the first full-length novel.

The Wild series is a spin-off of the Call series. It follows the life of Dayton’s best friend, Liv, and Aaron’s cousin, Tyler. Wild Addiction is the second book in the Wild series. I went into this book without having read Dayton’s story. This is actually my first Emma Hart series ever and I really enjoyed this book. It was sexy, sassy, and addictive.

“Because I live in hope.”
“Of what?”
“That one day, you and I will be able to be honest with ourselves … and each other.”

Liv is in love with love. Now completely addicted to Tyler she has to come to terms with loving him and keeping her addiction under control. Liv is trying to separate the emotional side of their relationship and the addiction which is proving hard. Not only does she have a new relationship to deal with, she has also agreed to run Aaron’s new bar. Liv will have many surprises in this book and she will have to make a choice. Overcome her addiction and just be in love with Tyler. Or leave Tyler and deal with the withdrawal that will definitely follow.

“I am my own to save because I am weak.
I am my own to save because I am strong.”

Tyler is a sex addict. He has never had more than one night with a woman until her makes the mistake of sleeping with Liv twice. Tyler has money but he doesn’t necessarily want it. He works as a photographer and uses what he makes from that to live. He spent weeks chasing Liv no matter how far she ran. Now he has finally convinced her to take a chance on their relationship but keeping her in it might be the hardest thing he has ever done.

“Because he has it all. I trust that man with every inch of me purely because I have no choice. He all but stole it from me when my back was turned. One by one, mind and heart, body and soul, he stole them and he trapped them somewhere within himself.”

Tyler is sexy, sweet, and at times romantic. But he is also cocky, naughty, and at times down right infuriating. Tyler was sweet in the way he dealt with Liv. He wanted so much more than she could give but he was willing to wait until she was ready to give it. He was a lot more patient then I would have been. He let, as much as he was able, Liv take the relationship as slow as she needed. While also pushing her to take it past her comfort zone. That man is definitely steamy. He was cocky and from the steam that was coming off my kindle he had a right to be.

“Heat.
Pleasure.
Throbbing.
Clenching.
Tyler.
“Mine.”

Liv. For some reason I really didn’t like her character that much. The things that bothered me was 1. She might have wanted to be free of her addiction, she never really fought it. She never saw their relationship as more than that until the end. 2. She was actually pretty depressing about her relationship with Tyler. She never referred to it as anything other than unhealthy, destructive, and wrong. How can you get better when that it how you see a potential relationship that could be so much more. For example.
“We are addiction, alone and together, and we’re intense and obsessive and probably a little destructive. We’re unhealthy.”

I understand they are both addicts but if she really loved him she would have been trying to fix it instead of tearing it down. Addiction is something that I have never had to deal with. So I am not going to pretend that it is an easy thing to beat. But I also feel like other than pushing Tyler away she never did anything to beat it. She claimed a relationship that had the potential to be beautiful and everything she could have wanted, an unhealthy and fucked up mess. I really don’t even know how Tyler heard that all of the time. I would have left after the first couple.

Anyway now that the mini-rant is over there were definitely things that I liked about her. She was loyal and caring to Dayton no matter how much they bitched and argued about the wedding. She loved her parents and she really wanted to be free of her addiction. She was hilarious and feisty. She didn’t take anyone’s shit. She spoke her mind and she was relatively blunt. So after writing that I guess I am not going to say I didn’t like her. She just frustrated me beyond belief.

“Don’t fear it. Let it happen. I don’t give a shit how long it takes or how uncontrollable it is. I need you to love me.”

I really loved how this book was written. The inner monologue and some of the things that Liv said in her mind made me laugh out loud. I had a huge ridiculous smile on my face throughout the entire book. The writing was beautiful and the flow worked. There were so many different little things going on you had to keep turning the page to see what happened.  If I had read the Call series I would have loved how much Aaron and Dayton are in this book.

“You are mine, Liv. Don’t ever doubt that. Every part of you is mine. And I’m yours. Every part of me is yours. Don’t doubt that either.”

I loved every minute of this book even the parts that frustrated me. I will definitely be picking up the prequel and the Call series. Emma Hart knows how to write characters that you can’t help but love. And she can write some pretty damn steamy sex scenes as well. The Call series is definitely a must after reading these books!

“This is wild addiction, one that will never be tamed.
And I love it as much as I hate it.”
