Some mistakes are worth making...

Lauren Layne's Best Mistake series continues with MADE FOR YOU.

When the Wrong Guy is Oh-So-Right Will Thatcher is exactly the type of sexy playboy good girls like Brynn have always avoided. And yet there was still something about him she just couldn't resist. When Will moved across the country three years ago, Brynn vowed it was time to put him behind her. She never thought Will might have other plans . . . Back in town, Will intends to get what he's always wanted-gorgeous, unforgettable Brynn. For years, he tormented the untouchable ice princess in a desperate bid for her attention. Now he has a new plan, and he'll do anything to rewrite their stormy past. This time, he's out to show Brynn that the imperfect man might be the best mistake of her life . . .

Lauren Layne is a new author for me. This book is the first one I have read from her and I enjoyed it. Two people who seem to hate each other on the surface might have something more to them. I loved that the storyline might not be the most original but Lauren puts her own new spin on it.

Brynn is starting to feel lost. She has been made fun of most of her childhood and now she has perfected the untouchable ice princess she created. But it’s not working for her anymore. Her boyfriend hasn’t proposed and she is starting to feel like she wont mind if he never does. She isn’t happy anymore but she isn’t ready to admit it yet. Then her worst nightmare walks back in. Will Thatcher.

Will has always been a playboy. His most favorite thing to do is torture Brynn. He just wants Brynn to see him. He has been in love with her since he met her on the football field in high school. They had one night. And when Brynn wanted to pretend it didn’t happen it crushed him and he up and left three days later. Not three years later he is back. And he has come to show her that what she needs in her life to make her happy is him.

Brynn and Will definitely show you that opposites attract. Will is spontaneous, carefree, and messy. Brynn has lists for her lists. She likes order, control, and predictability. Will shows Brynn that she might not enjoy that as much as she thinks she does. My problem with the story is that if we didn’t have some of the chapters from Will’s POV the romance would have been totally unbelievable. I mean they were horrible to each other and Brynn is supposed to just believe that he has loved her this whole time. It would have been easier to believe if they had said even two nice words to each other ever. The flow of the actual romance didn’t really work for me.

Other than that I really liked the story. The characters themselves were well developed and it was more than a romance. Brynn went through growth. She learned to let go and just be. Be the person she was always meant to be without all the other stuff. Some of the scenes with Brynn and Will were pretty hilarious as well. Lauren created a story that anyone would have a hard time putting down. There was romance, steam, humor, and great characters.
